Sam Senior Portraits
May 13, 2016
Oh, commencement. That time of year where giddy graduates line up for their diplomas and traffic clogs up a three mile radius of the U of U. Samuel was one of those giddy graduates receiving a degree in linguistics last week and is going on to teach Shoshone in Nevada this summer and fall. We spent some time wandering around the U campus capturing Sam in many of the places that meant something to him during his university experience: the Marriott Library, the student union, LINCO quad and, of course, OSH (which will be torn down this summer to make way for something not terrible). Check out a few shots of Sam's senior session below.
Adriene Ohanesian has been awarded the IWMF Courage in Photojournalism Award for her work covering conflict in South Sudan.
This is how KISS applied their makeup before a show.
Ari Seth Cohen makes portraits of senior citizens who are fabulous.
