A quick trip (well, 10-hour round-trip drive) over the weekend to the Duckwater Shoshone Reservation turned out to be a nice little getaway filled with festival events, hot-spring swimming and car camping. It got up to 101 degrees, but that didn't prevent the powwow dancers from showing their stuff or the handgame players from singing their lungs dry. Check out some photos from the weekend below.
