Dogs That Bark at Me
October 2, 2015
This summer, I started carrying around in my purse one of my old Pen-FVs that has a cloudy lens and more than its fair share of electrical tape holding it together. I started carrying it around to see what I could find in my neighborhood during sweaty summer days, but having it in my purse did that camera no good in the lens department, making it harder to keep in focus and use it in a hurry. And using it in a hurry became important when I decided to start a new series about dogs in my neighborhood that feel the necessity to protect their territory from the likes of me. Check out the first few shots of the series below (my favorites are the two Pomeranians who do-si-do around each other every time I walk by their precious fence).
The highest-funded photo project in the history of Kickstarter is Kirsty Mitchell's "Wonderland" series, which took 6.5 years to complete.
Adam Hinton got himself into one of the world's most dangerous prisons--and photographed the inmates who run the place.
Local photographer Cat Palmer re-created Da Vinci's "Last Supper" with Salt Lake City celebrities.
